  35.     Your suggestion reminds me that I should go back and figure it 
  36. out via ripples.  But I really wasn't satisfied with the procedural 
  37. texture look.  
  38.     
  39.     I decided to try and use the same texture map as a Displacement 
  40. and a Planar image map, both with the same texture velocities.  This 
  41. yielded a more realistic looking water surface.  
  42.  
  43.     But to get an actual swell effect, I may have to take your advice 
  44. and go back to a procedural ripple map.  Or a combination . . .
